Group Class We will use a variety of props including but not limited to the Magic Circle, various balls (weighted and inflated), weights, canvas bands, resistance bands, the Chair, Spine Corrector, and the ballet barre. We will teach this class with levels 1 through 5 in mind and at times will include a quicker tempo for added fat burning work. Of course we always use the body against gravity for resistance. Types of equipment depend on class size on any given day. |

Stretch & Relax We reach muscles in every part of the body and concentrate on Static, or held stretches, Dynamic or moving stretches, PNF stretches (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), using isometric contractions and A.I. stretches (Assisted Isolated). This class is a must for anyone who has a body. We work with the way the body moves: foward flexion or bending, extension or arching, lateral flexion or side bending, and rotation. The ambiance is very relaxing with Feng Shui influences in mind. The lights are dimmed, the music is soft, the soothing sound of trickling water is heard in the background, and you let yourself go.........ahhhh. Just relax. |
